The President confers the Order of the Dignified Rule of Muleege Dynasty on Chief Executive of the Saudi Fund for Development

His Excellency President Dr Mohamed Muizzu conferred the Order of the Dignified Rule of Muleege Dynasty (O.D.R.M.D) to the Chief Executive of the Saudi Fund for Development, His Excellency Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Murshid. He was presented with the laurels at an official ceremony held at the President's office this morning.

The Order of the Dignified Rule of the Muleege Dynasty commemorates the rule of Al-Sultan Muhammed Shamsuddin. The President made the decision to honour Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Murshid in recognition of his extensive efforts to advance the generous assistance and support extended by the Saudi Fund for Development towards the welfare and progress of the people of Maldives.

The Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to the Maldives pays farewell call on President

His Excellency Matrek bin Abdullah Al-Ajalin Al-Dosari, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Maldives, paid a farewell call on His Excellency President Dr Mohamed Muizzu on Tuesday. The meeting took place at the President’s Office in the morning.

During the meeting, the President expressed his gratitude for the significant support provided by the Ambassador throughout his tenure, highlighting the strengthened bilateral relations between the two nations. He also noted the many exchanges that had taken place and wished the Ambassador success in his future endeavours.

President Dr Muizzu conveyed his intention to continue working closely with the Saudi government and expressed hope for the further strengthening of relations in the months to come. The President also recalled the warm hospitality extended by the Saudi government during his Umrah trip last May.

The meeting concluded with both the President and the Ambassador reaffirming their commitment to further strengthening the relationship between the Maldives and Saudi Arabia.

Ambassador of Saudi Arabia pays a farewell call on the Minister of Foreign Affairs

The Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to the Maldives, Matrek Al-Ajalin Aldosari, paid a farewell call on the Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Abdulla Khaleel this morning.

During the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister Khaleel conveyed the Government’s deep appreciation to Ambassador for his invaluable contributions to strengthening the brotherly relations between the Maldives and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Minister also highlighted the Ambassador’s efforts in enhancing close cooperation between the two countries across key areas.

Ambassador Aldosari expressed sincere gratitude to the Government and people of the Maldives for the warm hospitality and friendship extended to him during his tenure. He reaffirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to further strengthening the close and brotherly ties between the two countries.

Minister Khaleel also acknowledged the warmth and friendship the Ambassador maintained throughout his tenure, and expressed confidence that the strong ties between the Maldives and Saudi Arabia will continue to flourish under the leadership of his successor. 

The Minister extended his best wishes to Ambassador in his future endeavors and assured the Government’s full support and cooperation to the incoming Ambassador.
