Ambassador Sareer met with Mr. Ajlan Ibn Saad Al-Ajlan, Second Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Riyadh Chamber to explore new avenues for and strengthen business and investment ties between Maldives and Saudi Arabia.

Ambassador Sareer paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Mr. Yousef bin Abdullah, Minister of Education of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 13th January 2025. During the meeting, discussions centered on enhancing cooperation in the areas of education and skills development between Maldives and Saudi Arabia. In particular, the Ambassador expressed gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the generous offer of scholarship slots at Universities in Saudi Arabia to prospective Maldivian students.

Ambassador Sareer made a courtesy call on Her Excellency Ms. Sarah Al-Sayed, Deputy Minister of International Relations at Ministry of Investment. Discussions were centered on potential areas of investment cooperation between Maldives and Saudi Arabia.
