On 22nd December 2024, Ambassador Ahmed Sareer welcomed Mr. Abdurrahman Al-Abdulwahhab, General Manager of Sales for Central Asia and East Region of Saudi Airlines at the Embassy of Maldives in Riyadh. At the meeting, views were exchanged on closer collaboration between Maldives Embassy and Saudi Airlines and towards enhancing connectivity between Maldives and Saudi Arabia.

H.E Dr. Mohamed Kinaanath, Minister of State for Homeland Security and Technology visited Embassy of Maldives in Riyadh on December 19th,2024 during his visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to attend the Internet Governance Forum 2024. State Minister was welcomed by Ambassador and staff of the Embassy.

On 12th December 2024, Ambassador Sareer paid a courtesy call on H.E. Eng. Salah bin Nasser Al-Jasser, Minister of Transport and Logistic Services of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and discussed areas of mutual cooperation between Maldives and Saudi Arabia.
