Ambassador Ahmed Sareer held a meeting with H.E. Mohammed Alibrahim, Assistant Minister of Energy for Oil and Gas, at the Ministry of Energy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. During the meeting, discussions were held on energy cooperation between Maldives and Saudi Arabia and closer collaboration on climate change initiatives at the multilateral front.

Ambassador Ahmed Sareer visited the Maldives Stall at Business Travel Roadshow Winter 2025-Riyadh. The Embassy of Maldives was pleased to extend its full support and cooperation to Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO), in the Maldives tourism promotion efforts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. 

Ambassador Ahmed Sareer was pleased to welcome Mr. Abdulaziz AlKhuwaitim, International Relations Specialist from the Office of the Secretary General of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Association (ISSA), who visited the Embassy of Maldives to brief on the upcoming 6th Islamic Solidarity Games, to be held in Riyadh from 7–21 November 2025.
