Ambassador Ahmed Sareer visited the King Fahd National Library and held a meeting with His Excellency, Dr. Yazeed bin Mohamed  Al-Homaidhan, Secretary General of the Library. During the visit, the Ambassador was briefed on the Library’s role in spreading knowledge and maintaining a culture of learning across all ages. Discussions were also held on sharing of expertise and learning between Maldives and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Ambassador Ahmed Sareer visited the King Abdulaziz Public Library and held a meeting with His Excellency Faisal bin Ma'mar, the General Supervisor of the Library. During the visit and a tour of the Library, the Ambassador was briefed on the Institution’s efforts in the preservation of culture and serving knowledge. Discussions were also held on sharing of expertise and learning between Maldives and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Ambassador Ahmed Sareer met with Honourable Uz. Turki Mohamed AlShuwaier, CEO of the King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah Foundation). During the meeting, discussions were held on potential avenues for cooperation in the fields of historical research, cultural preservation, and archival exchange between the Maldives and Saudi Arabia.
